I bought this mouse because it also functioned like a scanner. It did everything it said it did. Scan quality is great. Copying and pasting to Photoshop, PDF, or Microsoft Word is easy. Range is limited to up to 11"x17", so hopefully you won't need to scan anything bigger than that. If you need a simple scanner but desk space is limited, I highly recommend this one!
